I have absolutely loved the Ivy Nash series and knowing that this book is the last of her story I was definitely not looking forward to reading this and having to say goodbye! But boy did Mefford make her part of the Redemption series end with a bang! Literally!
Ivy is back doing what she does best – finding missing children, but in true Ivy style nothing is ever really as simple as “search and find” for her and with the twist and turns that is true to Meffords style, you are once again thrown on a roller coaster ride.
A couple come to Ivy asking for her help to locate their missing teenage daughter Mia, they are reluctant to go the police for fear of them being deported for being illegal immigrants after coming to the country 18 years ago. With the help of Christina and Stan they uncover something much more sinister when kids from the school start winding up dead in a satanic ritualist kind of way. It is a race against time for Ivy to find Mia in the hopes that she doesn’t end up like the others, and you are left on the edge of your seat as you try to piece it all together along with them.
Satanic ritualistic murders, missing teenagers and a mother of all ending leaving you fear the worst – trust me you will not want to put this down!
