I have loved Deborah Brown’s Paradise Series and I couldn’t wait to get reading this new series featuring the hunky Zach Lazarro, who we first met at the beginning of the Paradise Series. The Malibu Hill series all about Zach and his business Zuma Seals Investigations, he has up sticks from the Florida Keys to Malibu and set up ZSI with his old Navy Seals mates. 

Whilst on a job for a high paying client tracking the wife for signs of cheating, the wife ends up dead and the fingers start to point to one of his team mates as the suspect! With twists and turn that I never saw coming this short novel really set up the scene for the rest of the series. This is a different take for Ms Browns book whose previous characters are female, feminine, gun toting investigators in the Florida Keys to an all masculine and hunky ex-Seal group. The characters are introduced in such a way that I felt like I have known them for a while, and I cant wait to read more in this series.
